End of the Dollar
It's a very telling sign.
Some merchants in NYC have decided to accept foreign currencies. They are actually requesting customers to pay in Euros.
Is it possible the the era of the mighty dollar is coming to an end?

Sailing Across the North Pole
The Northwest Passage is now open. You can now sail across the North Pole. While I'm sure this is good news for those engaged in the Nunavut - Siberia transport business, for the rest of the planet I suspect htat a thawing icecap isn't such a great thing.
